The gap

Freight rarely breaks in transit. It breaks at the handoff.

A warehouse is measured on space. A carrier is measured on miles. Between the two there is a seam nobody owns — the appointment that slipped, the trailer that showed up wrong, the pallet that sat three days because two systems never spoke.

That seam is our entire business. We sit between the dock and the road and treat the handoff as the product: one team booking the space, the equipment and the driver, with a single number to call when something moves.

A warehouse gives you

  • Square footage
  • A dock door
  • Freight that stops

A carrier gives you

  • A truck
  • A rate per mile
  • Freight that starts

Dock To Drive gives you

  • The handoff
  • One accountable partner
  • Freight that never waits
The handoff, step by step

Four beats between the dock and the door.

  1. Dock01

    Space is secured

We reserve the bay before the freight moves. Appointment booked, dock hours confirmed, labor scheduled against your volume — not against whoever calls first.

    Dock

  2. Load02

    Freight is built to travel

Cross-dock, re-palletize, transload, wrap and label. The load leaves configured for the trailer it is going into, not the one it came out of.

    Load

  3. Drive03

The right truck is already there

Equipment matched to the freight and the lane, from a vetted carrier pool we manage daily. Tender accepted before your dock opens.

    Drive

  4. Deliver04

    It arrives on the appointment

Live tracking, proactive exception alerts, delivery appointment held. POD and invoice in the same place, in the same hour.

Visibility

You should not have to ask where your freight is.

Every load gets a live status line, GPS where the carrier supports it, and an alert the moment a milestone slips — pushed to you before you notice it is late.

  • Milestone tracking

Tendered, at pickup, loaded, in transit, at delivery, delivered. Timestamped.

  • Exception alerts

Detention risk, missed appointment and weather reroutes flagged as they happen.

  • Documents in one place

BOL, POD, packing lists and photos attached to the load, not buried in email.

  • Lane reporting

Cost per mile, dwell time and on-time rate by lane, exportable every month.

Coverage

Built around the docks that actually move volume.

Freight does not move evenly across the map. It concentrates — in the ports where containers land, the rail ramps where boxes come off steel, and the metro clusters every truckload has to clear. These are the corridors we work in.

Ports, inland ports and rail ramps of the lower 48.

Working with us

Four steps. No account manager telephone game.

  1. 01

    Send the lane

Origin, destination, freight, dates. Call, email or the form on this site — whichever is faster for you.

Standard lanes priced the same business day

  2. 02

    We build the move

Equipment selected, carrier tendered, dock appointments booked on both ends. You approve one number and one plan.

    One dispatcher owns your account

  3. 03

    We watch it move

Milestone updates without you chasing them. If something slips, you hear it from us with an option already attached.

One desk owns the load end to end

  4. 04

    We close the loop

POD, invoice and clean lane data. Every quarter we bring the numbers back and tell you where the cost is hiding.

    Monthly lane reporting included

Brand essence

Four words we are willing to be measured on.

Reliable

Trust is built on consistency, safety and accountability. When we miss, you hear it from us first — with the fix already in motion.

Driven

We move fast and stay ahead to keep your business moving. Rates in minutes, tenders accepted before your dock opens.

Connected

Warehousing and freight, seamlessly connected for you. One team, one system, one invoice across the whole handoff.

Focused

We focus on solutions that deliver real results. Not every mode for everyone — the modes where we are demonstrably better.

Service commitments

What you can hold us to.

This is how the desk runs. No SLA table here is worth anything until it is in your contract — ask us to put the numbers that matter to you in writing.

Rate response

Standard lanes come back the same business day. Specialized and project freight takes longer because it gets priced properly.

Exception notice

When a milestone slips you hear it from us, before you notice it on your end.

Proof of delivery

POD and invoice land in the same place, attached to the load — not chased over email.

Live dispatch

A person on the phone, not a ticket queue.

Straight answers

Questions we get on the first call.

Are you a warehouse?

No. We do not own warehouse space and we are not trying to sell you square footage. We contract space inside a network of partner facilities and manage it as part of your move. If a warehouse is all you need, we will tell you and point you at one.

Do you own trucks?

No. We are asset-light by design. That means we pick the right carrier for your lane instead of forcing your freight onto equipment we happen to own. It also means our capacity scales with your season rather than our fleet size.

Then what exactly am I paying for?

The handoff. Booking the dock, configuring the freight, sourcing and vetting the truck, holding both appointments, tracking the load, and being the single accountable party when any of it moves. That coordination is the product.

Are you licensed and bonded?

Yes — we operate under FMCSA broker authority with a surety bond on file. Our MC and DOT numbers appear on every rate confirmation and broker–carrier agreement, and we will send them on request.

How do you vet carriers?

Active operating authority, insurance limits per our broker–carrier agreement with certificates held on file, FMCSA safety profile review, and a check against known double-brokering flags. Verification is repeated at every insurance renewal, not once at signup.

How fast can I get a rate?

Standard lanes come back the same business day. Specialized freight, oversize and project moves take longer because we quote them properly instead of guessing.

What is your minimum volume?

There is not one. We run single expedites and we run weekly contracted lanes. The service level does not change with the size of the load.

Do you handle cross-border freight?

Yes, into and out of Canada through Detroit and Buffalo, and into Mexico through the Texas crossings. We coordinate with your customs broker so documents clear ahead of the tractor.

Next step

Send us one lane.

Pick the lane that gives you the most trouble — the one with the dwell, the chargebacks or the carrier that keeps falling through. Quote it against us. That is the whole pitch.
